  • M.S. in Curriculum Development & Instructional Technology

  • B.S. in Natural Science & Elementary Special Education

• 12+ Years of Classroom & Online Teaching Experience: The majority of Melissa’s career has focused strongly on elementary reading and writing for K–6 students in online settings

• Certified Teacher: Holds active teaching certifications in  New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire

• Structured Literacy Training: IMSE Orton-Gillingham trained and grounded in evidence-based Science of Reading instruction

At the heart of Melissa’s teaching approach is a simple idea: learning should be engaging and centered around your child. She believes in getting to know your child personally and creating a space where they feel both challenged and supported on their learning journey.
